The inviting living area is filled with a chenille right-hand facing sofa and chaise lounge centered between two 10 feet windows allowing ample natural light, an armchair with an ottoman, and a 40″ SmartTV wall mounted above a nonworking fireplace original to the home with access to all your favorite streaming apps – the perfect cozy place for a movie night.

KITCHEN & DINING
Cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the fully equipped kitchen with all the gadgets, trays, dishes, and utensils you would expect to find in a family home. There is a full-size fridge/freezer, a freestanding oven and gas cooktop, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a dishwasher to cover all the cleaning up.

Gather everyone into the cozy dining room table set for six and serve your delicious homemade meals!

BATHROOM
This unit offers one full-size bathroom with a single vanity and a tub/shower combo, and plenty of fresh, clean towels and toiletries are provided for your convenience during your stay.

BEDROOMS
Two stylish, spacious bedrooms with abundant natural light make up this unit. Each bed is topped with soft, premium linen and bedding, and you’ll find plenty of storage to unpack and make yourself home.

Bedroom #1 offers a queen size bed, two side tables with lamps, and storage space for your belongings. Bedroom #2 also has a queen size bed, two side tables with lights, a luggage rack, and a chair. Both bedrooms offer a simplistic design that is beautiful and practical.

LAUNDRY
A full-size washer and dryer are located in the basement of the duplex, complete with detergent and dryer sheets for making vacation laundry a breeze.

PARKING
There is Free Street Parking. Just be sure to keep an eye on the street-sweeping schedule posted. You may need to park on the other side of the street for a day.

Neighborhood

Shaw neighborhood is home to the beautiful Missouri Botanical Gardens, Tower Grove Park, and Forest Park. Forest Park alone has miles of tree-lined paths, playgrounds, fountains, and other exciting points of interest. There are many restaurants on Grand Ave and many more Italian restaurants on “The Hill” nearby. You’re near major freeways, so scheduling a visit to a Cardinals game is a breeze. You can visit the Arch, visit beautiful Soulard, or tour the Anheuser-Busch brewery.

The Shaw neighborhood is a mix of stately, turn-of-the-last-century homes and well-maintained apartments in classic brick. University and medical students live alongside professionals, many young families, and long-term residents. It’s diverse and friendly. Residents are quiet and respectful. You’ll mostly want to drive or Uber/Lyft to get around as the street is residential for several city blocks.
