SITTING AREA/LIVING AREA
The relaxing and contemporary sitting area features a generous sleeper sofa (sleeps two), a matching set of seating chairs, a charming fireplace, and lovely artwork, all in a bright and spacious room. This space is designed for families to convene, nap, read, or enjoy a game night.

KITCHEN & DINING
Cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the fully equipped kitchen with all the gadgets, trays, dishes, and utensils you would expect to find in a family home. There is a full-size fridge/freezer, a freestanding oven and gas cooktop, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a dishwasher to cover all the cleaning up. Serve your meals in the elegant dining room, seating six guests.

BATHROOM – 1ST FLOOR
Take advantage of the convenient first-floor full-size bathroom with a single vanity and a tub/shower combo stocked with clean, fresh towels and toiletries for a comfortable stay!

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS – 2ND FLOOR
Both of the bedrooms can be found on the second floor. Each bed is topped with soft, premium linen and bedding, and you’ll find plenty of storage to unpack and make yourself home!

Note: For the safety of our guests, please use the handrail when using the stairwell, which may be steep!

Bedroom #1 offers a queen-upholstered bed with two side tables, lamps, and beautiful custom Roman shades for a restful night’s sleep! Bedroom #2 offers a king-size bed with a head and footboard and a matching nightstand and dresser. A sizable closet to store your belongings. Adjacent to the bedroom is a spacious lounge room/living space with a couch, a wall-mounted smart TV, a desk, and an office chair, perfect for catching up on all your work emails outside the office! The second full-size bathroom is tucked in the back with a w/single vanity and a tub/shower combo stocked with fresh, clean towels.

LAUNDRY
You’ll find a complete washer and dryer set in the home’s basement with detergent and dryer sheets to make vacation laundry a breeze.

OUTDOOR AND FREE STREET PARKING
Step out the back door onto a fully fenced backyard, soak in St. Louis’s beautiful weather, or gather by the outdoor fireplace and make smores with the family. Free street parking is available in front of the property.

Neighborhood

This home is in St. Louis’s, Lafayette Square’s most historic and charming neighborhoods! With a history as vibrant and colorful as its trademark homes, Lafayette Square is the perfect intersection of past and present. Tree-lined streets and a picturesque park provide an ideal backdrop to the numerous eateries and social establishments.

Twice yearly, the residents open their homes to the public for the ever-popular Spring and Garden Tour (first weekend in June) and the Lafayette Square Holiday Parlor Tour (second Sunday in December). Visitors even have the option to stay in one of these gloriously painted homes.

Within Lafayette, there are craft breweries; specialty shops; Park Avenue Coffee, which features original small-batch blends; quirky and one-of-a-kind restaurants; yoga and art studios; wine, chocolate, and rooftop bars; a lounge; and a must-try ice creamery.

Suppose you are lucky enough to be in the city at the right time. In that case, there are annual neighborhood festivities that are fun to visit, including an antique fair (June), Cocktails on the Plaza (July), Movies in Lafayette Park (summer), Taste of Lafayette (August), Tour De Lafayette/Gateway Cup Bike Race (Friday before Labor Day); Tricks & Treats on Park (Saturday before Halloween); the Holiday Tree Lighting (second Saturday in December); and the Holiday Market (second Sunday in December), which features roasted chestnuts, spirits, and crafts.

Walk through the neighborhood and admire the 150-year-old two- and three-story Victorian mansions, commonly called the “painted ladies,” surrounding the lush 30-acre Lafayette Park, the oldest urban park west of the Mississippi.
