The Space

Please make your way through the front gate and enter our freshly designed vacation home. Step up onto the front porch and into the home via the smart keyless lock and be greeted with soaring ceilings and generously sized rooms designed and styled with your comfort in mind.

LIVING AREA
The bright and vivid living area features a cozy mid-century upholstered sofa with a 55″ LG Smart TV, with access to all your favorite streaming apps – the perfect relaxing place for a movie night.

KITCHEN & DINING
Cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the fully equipped eat-in kitchen with all the gadgets, trays, dishes, and utensils you would expect to find in a family home. There is a full-size fridge/freezer, a freestanding oven and gas stove, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a dishwasher to cover all the cleaning up.

Serve your meals in the dining room adjacent to the kitchen for dinner with a table set for four, or enjoy your morning coffee at the kitchen peninsula or watch the chef cook your favorite meals!

Bedroom #2 shows a queen bed, two side tables, a desk and office chair, a double-door closet with hangers to store all your belongings, exposed brick, and a vast amount of natural light!

LAUNDRY
On the main level, you’ll find the laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, complete with detergent and dryer sheets, to make vacation laundry a breeze hidden behind a double-door closet.

BASEMENT
This home provides extra space for relaxing and entertaining! A partially finished basement with a foosball table, a high-top bar table, and bar stools make this space extra fun!

Neighborhood

Located in one of the most historic and densely populated areas of South St. Louis, Soulard is a lively spot to be! Loaded with great food and great bars, all within walking distance, the area is busy every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and during home or important away games!

McGurk’s draws a crowd every night of the week. Molly’s and 1860s have great live music! The Great Grizzly (across the street from the front of our building) is one of the oldest bars in St. Louis and offers free shuttles to and from all home games. Dukes, which is across the street (behind our building), has become one of the most popular bars in Soulard!

Visitors can enjoy an endless section of entertainment in the Soulard district year-round, including craft beer at International Tap House, oysters and crawfish on the beautifully-landscaped patio at Molly’s in Soulard, homemade cupcakes at Sweet Divine, Irish stew at McGurk’s, and blueberry-flavored margaritas at Chavas Mexican Restaurant.

Take part in Pub Crawls held throughout the neighborhood and on the music front; Soulard offers some of the city’s best jazz, blues, folk, and rock music options.

With over thirty bars, restaurants, and quirky shops scattered throughout the narrow tree-lined streets, everyone has an elaborate outdoor courtyard, patio, or sidewalk area to enjoy the beautiful historic scenery.

For history buffs, the area plays host to the city’s oldest church and the oldest building. For the brave, several haunted houses, including The Darkness, are located near the former Welsh Baby Carriage factory.

Some must-visit award-winning restaurants and cafes within Soulard are Bogart’s Smokehouse for America’s Best Ribs, the Capitalist Pig BBQ, John D. McGurk’s Irish Pub, and Sidney Street Café.

When visiting in January, the area hosts the world’s third-largest Mardi Gras Festival. It includes loads of entertainment, including the Family Carnival, Snow Ball Softball Tournament, Wine & Whiskey Tasting, Cajun Cook-off, Taste of Soulard, pub crawls, and the main event, Grand Parade Day!
